ABOUT US

The Andover and District Model Engineering Society was formed in 1945. After many years at its previous site the Society has recently moved to a new site near the village of Wherwell. A club room has been erected, a ground level 5" & 7 1/4" track laid and a raised track for gauge one/g45 and coarse 0/SM32 installed. Work on the construction of a raised 5” & 3½” gauge track is underway. For a trip around the new ground level track click here.

The Society also has a portable track which it takes to some local events during the year.

The Society meets on Sunday mornings and every Wednesday evening during the Summer and alternate Wednesday evenings during the Winter. To obtain further information, please contact one of the society officials below:-
